Department/Unit Summary

The Sumners Pulmonary MedSurg (A4) Unit at Highpoint Health is a 24-bed unit specializing in the care of patients with pulmonary diseases. In addition to pulmonary conditions, the unit provides exposure to a variety of other patient disease processes, offering a broad spectrum of medical-surgical care.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license. A current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the AHA or ARC is also required upon hire.
