Central Adult Day Healthcare Services is looking for a passionate and dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our compassionate team in Richmond, VA. Responsibilities

Provide individual and group counseling sessions to adult clients in a day healthcare environment Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Monitor and document client progress, updating treatment plans as needed Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including physicians, social workers, and healthcare staff Offer crisis intervention and de-escalation support when necessary Facilitate psychoeducational groups focused on coping skills, mental wellness, and life skills Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards

Requirements

Active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Virginia Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field Experience working with adult populations, geriatric care, or behavioral health preferred Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities (CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing) Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team Compassionate, patient-centered approach with a commitment to client dignity and respect About Us: Central Adult Day Healthcare Services is a trusted provider of comprehensive day healthcare programs for adults in the Richmond, VA community, dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for our clients through holistic, person-centered care.
