About the role

Provide remote critical care support to multiple hospitals from an in-person command center, rounding on an average of 35 patients per shift. Collaborate with intensivists and nursing staff to manage acute illnesses and lead quality improvement initiatives.

Work Schedule

60% FTE, 12-hour rotating day/night shift with a two in six weekend rotation. Holiday rotation required. You will work 100% in-person at 8501 Excelsior Dr in Madison, WI.

Pay

  • Additional components of compensation includes impressive shift differentials - $4/hour evening, $5/hour night and $4.25/hour weekend differential as applicable for hours worked.   • Nurse (RN) to: Provide support from our in-person eICU command center to patients of UW Health, Meriter, Monroe, Freeport, Richland, Platteville, Mauston, Sauk Prairie, Portage and Medford hospitals with acute illnesses as well as management of chronic conditions. Round on an average of 35 patients per shift, admit patients, and respond to changing vital signs via e-care Participate in quality improvement initiatives and lead practice change while also collaboratively mentoring RNs at regional sites through the mentorship program. Work collaboratively with RNs, a nursing assistant and an intensivist each shift. Nurses on this team have an average of 20 years of ICU experience! See the remarkable work our team is doing!

Qualifications

Requirements

Requires a Registered Nurse license in Wisconsin or a compact state, along with CPR/BLS and ACLS certifications. A minimum of two years of nursing experience is required, with a BSN preferred.
