The CNA provides compassionate, patient-centered care by performing vitals, pre-admission tests, and intake documentation. They are also responsible for patient rounds, transport, and general administrative duties within the medical department.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Works with admitting patients by completing vitals, pre-admission tests, and intake documentation Complete vitals and performs various tests (i.e. glucose, UDS, HcG) Performs patient rounds Transports patients as requested Performs administrative duties associated with the nursing/medical departments OTHER FUNCTIONS: · Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: High School diploma or equivalent required. Certified Nursing Assistant program completion Previous experience in behavioral health setting knowledge and experience working with the population of the facility preferred. Newly certified CNAs are encouraged to apply LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS: Current NC Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification CPR, First Aid, and de-escalation certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
