The Registered Nurse provides clinical practice and care coordination for patients with melanoma and other skin cancers. This includes delivering safe, holistic, and patient-centered care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Inova Schar Cancer Institute’s Fairfax location is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the team in our breast cancer clinic.
This role will be Full-Time day shift from Monday – Friday.
Our clinic is open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
No weekends, no holidays, no call.

The Chesapeake Clinic (5N), which is located within the newly built Inova Schar Cancer Institute, is an outpatient physician clinic whose team members work closely and expertly with our board-certified dermatologist, medical oncologist and advanced practitioners to serve patients for management of melanoma and other skin cancers including cutaneous lymphoma.

A minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience.
BSN or ADN - If ADN then complete BSN within 5 years of start date BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification from the American Heart Association required RN licensed, and eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Proficient in English, strong verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional interpersonal skill and the ability to display a caring demeanor towards others. Proficient computer skills required.
Outpatient nursing experience in a physician clinic strongly preferred Oncology or dermatology experience preferred
Candidates must have at least one year of RN experience, a BSN or ADN, and a valid Virginia RN license. BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
