The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing patient needs, developing individualized plans of care, and implementing interventions in a collaborative healthcare environment. They must also provide patient and family education while maintaining professional practice standards.
The Registered Nurse works in a collaborative and cooperative relationship with other members of the health care team, plans and implements patient and family education and is responsible for assessing the needs and initiating appropriate intervention for patients.

Integrates research findings into practice.
