Responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Supports the organization’s vision and mission. Utilizes knowledge of patient’s developmental age and cultural diversity in the provision of patient and family-centered care. Contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care. Qualifications Minimum Position Requirements Work Experience Full Time – None Required. Part-time, PRN, Contract, and Travelers – at least one year of experience required. Float Pool, Transport, Nurse Imaging, and Multispecialty Center (regardless of work status) – at least one year of experience. License/Registration/Certification Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas or Compact Licensure.   • For the Emergency Department, NRP and STABLE are required within 12 months from the date of hire. Education and Training Associate Degree in Nursing. Skills Possesses critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Possesses effective oral and written communication skills. Possesses effective interpersonal relationship skills. Ability to utilize computers for documentation purposes. Ability to read and comprehend English at a level necessary to follow written and oral instructions and safety precautions.

Requirements

Candidates must have an Associate Degree in Nursing and a valid Texas or Compact RN license. Part-time positions require at least one year of experience and specific certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP.
