About the role

The technologist is responsible for operating diagnostic and fluoroscopy imaging equipment to perform patient examinations. They must maintain high ethical standards while providing quality patient care within Radiology Services.

Position Summary

  • ***$7,500 Sign-On Bonus for eligible candidates**
  • The Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist IV is a member of the diagnostic staff of Radiology Services. The technologist is responsible for the operation of diagnostic and fluoroscopy imaging equipment and for performing examinations. The diagnostic technologist must maintain a high standard of ethics while providing quality patient care. Through proper credentialing, the technologist must be ARRT (R) registered with current certification. Minimum Requirements High school or equivalent (or higher) Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Current ARRT (R) required 8 years of experience as Radiologic/Diagnostic Technologist Clinical Ladder Other Information Primary Shift: Day 4 days per week; 7:00am - 3:30pm On Call: Yes Weekends: No IMPORTANT: This position is listed as a Diagnostic Technologist I, but based on the minimum requirements that are met, the candidate of choice will be hired as a Diagnostic Technologist I, II, III or IV. #LI-NM1 ECU Health About ECU Health Edgecombe Hospital ECU Health Edgecombe Hospital is a full-service, 117-bed acute care facility where residents of Tarboro and the surrounding communities can receive a wide range of health services close to home. Requirements

Candidates must have a high school diploma, current ARRT (R) registration, and BLS certification. A minimum of 8 years of experience as a Radiologic/Diagnostic Technologist is required.
