Serves as a proactive patient representative providing support and guidance as patients "navigate" through complex oncology care.
Expedites patient care flow, eliminating barriers and improving the overall patient experience by connecting the patient and family with the appropriate resources.
Serves as an educational resource and promotes awareness for the facility and community on oncology related topics.
Provides patient support in a one-on-one or group setting.
Under minimal supervision, provides professional nursing care for patients following established standards and practices.
Job Requirements: Minimum 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse Bachelor of Nursing or Healthcare Management Active Registered Nurse license BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
Preferred Qualifications: ONS Chemotherapy Certified Oncology Nurse Navigator
