The Medical Administrative Associate is responsible for full range of administrative support in a high-volume oncology practice. Responsibilities include but, are not limited to the following:
  • Consult/referral coordination
  • Assisting patients with the financial assistance process
  • Covering for physician secretaries,
  • scheduling physician and treatment/infusion appointments,
  • Triaging patient phone calls, and responding to requests for information

Qualifications

Education

· High School Diploma required.

Minimum Qualifications

· Three to five years experience in healthcare preferred, with two to three years in an ambulatory office setting preferred · Working knowledge of medical terminology required · Working knowledge of healthcare billing and collections. · Familiarity of medical coding preferred i.e.: CPT, ICD10, J- codes. · Excellent communication skills with providers, patients, care team, other departments We take great care of careers.

Requirements

A high school diploma is required, with a preference for three to five years of healthcare experience. Candidates must have working knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare billing.
