  • Shift: Monday – Friday | Full Time Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) Help patients live healthier lives through compassionate, comprehensive care. Raleigh Medical Group, P.A. is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Internal Medicine/Primary Care team. The APP will provide comprehensive, patient-centered primary care by evaluating, diagnosing, treating, and managing acute and chronic conditions while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care team. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary care services, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions. Perform preventive health examinations, Medicare Annual Wellness Visits, and age-appropriate screenings. Obtain patient histories, perform physical examinations, and develop evidence-based treatment plans. Order, interpret, and follow up on laboratory, imaging, and other diagnostic tests. Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions in accordance with applicable laws and clinical guidelines. Perform office-based procedures within scope of practice and competency, including DOT physicals as applicable. Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and preventive care. Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, hospitals, and other healthcare providers. Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic health record (EHR). Participate in quality improvement, population health, and value-based care initiatives.
  • Qualifications
  • Required: Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant/Physician Associate program. Current North Carolina NP approval to practice or North Carolina Physician Assistant license in good standing. Current national certification appropriate to profession (AANP/ANCC or NCCPA). Current BLS certification. Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience in a medical practice, including one to two years practicing as an Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA).
