Evaluate and manage patients with pelvic floor disorders and urogynecologic conditions in a collaborative outpatient setting. Responsibilities include performing examinations, developing treatment plans, and assisting with in-office procedures.
Evaluate and follow patients with urogynecologic conditions such as urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, overactive bladder, recurrent UTIs, pelvic pain, and voiding dysfunction Obtain histories, perform focused examinations, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians. Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic studies, labs, imaging, and other testing as appropriate. Provide patient education regarding diagnosis, treatment options, medications, lifestyle changes, and preventive care. Assist with in-office procedures and pre-operative and post-operative care within scope of practice. Triages patient calls and supports continuity of care between physician visits. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure efficient, coordinated, and compassionate care.
Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Master’s degree or completion of an accredited PA program. DEA and applicable state prescribing credentials. Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient specialty practice.
