The MRI Technologist provides clinical imaging services according to practice standards while ensuring patient safety and optimal department function. Responsibilities include performing various examinations, communicating with patients to obtain informed consent, and maintaining imaging equipment.
Inova Loudoun Hospital is looking for a dedicated MRI Technologist (MRI Tech) to join the team.
This role will be a Full-time, evening shift: Tuesday - Friday 11:00am to 9:30pm, plus on-call requirement.

Education: One of the following: Graduate of an accredited school of radiography MRI certification from American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMIT) Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) Graduate of an accredited school of nuclear medicine with MRI training (must be MRI Registry eligible through ARRT).
Prior experience preferred as Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist and/or MRI Technologist in a hospital/healthcare environment or recent student at Inova Health System
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited radiography or nuclear medicine school and hold BLS certification. Certification from ARRT, ARMIT, or CAMRT is required or must be obtained within 18 months of hire.
