LPN- Cardiology of Raleigh Job Location: Cardiology of Raleigh 3320 Wake Forest Rd, Raleigh, NC Job Summary: We are seeking an LPN at Duke Cardiology of Raleigh, located in Raleigh, NC to serve as an integral member of the healthcare team and provide direct and indirect care to patients.

JOB DUTIES: Support heart monitoring process in clinic including enrollment, patient education, monitor placement, on base/interface errors, monitor download and billing.

Perform intake with patients to include vital signs, visit information and other clinical information as indicated based on patients’ assessment and clinic staffing needs.

Handle prescription refills according to protocols.

Managing and performing PT/INR’s & EKGs as needed.

Clinical resource for all Unlicensed Assistive Personnel.Participates in performance improvement projects and/or acts as a liaison in various clinic related projects.

Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Job Eligibility Requirements: North Carolina or Multistate LPN License Required.

NCBON must be notified within 60 days if using a multistate license.

BLS required Cardiology experience preferred Must be present on site for 8 hour shifts during standard business hours.

Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Must be able to push/pull 250 lbs.

Must be able to carry 25 lbs.

Job Hours: The schedule for this position is day shifts, Monday-Friday, with no weekends or holidays.
