Market context

Mammography roles need certified imaging skills

In South Dakota, mammography technologists are typically in demand at breast care centers, hospitals, and outpatient imaging sites that need staff with current radiology credentials and patient-facing experience. These roles are competitive because employers usually look for accredited training, ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology and Mammography, a state permit, and BCLS, while benefits like health, dental, vision, PTO, and parental leave can help set offers apart. Before applying, confirm your certifications and permit are current; the job requirements and benefits here are AI-summarized from the original posting, which can save you time reviewing the full description.
