About the role

Provide outpatient general neurology and specialized headache services within the Capital Institute for Neurosciences. Collaborate with neurology, neurosurgery, and neuropsychology teams to deliver comprehensive care to patients.

The listed pay range or pay rate reflects compensation for a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) position.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Position Overview Pay Range: $318,000.00 - $578,681.00 The Department of Neurology at Capital Health is seeking a full-time Headache Specialist.

The physician will provide outpatient general Neurology services at the Institute’s office practice as part of our team.

The physician will work collaboratively with the other members of the neurology, neurosurgery and neuropsychology team, as well as providers in the healthcare system’s primary care network and multi-specialty practices – all part of Capital Health Medical Group.

The Institute includes a Joint Commission certified Comprehensive Stroke Center at its Trenton campus, Primary Stroke Center at its Hopewell campus, and Capital Health is a NAEC Level 3 Epilepsy Center.

The Institute offers various subspecialty programs in the areas of stroke and neurovascular, neurosurgical oncology, spine, epilepsy, movement disorders, concussion and pain medicine.

Requirements

Requires an MD/DO degree, completion of an ACGME-approved neurology residency, and fellowship training in Headache Medicine. Must be board certified or eligible and eligible for licensure in New Jersey.
