About the role

Perform clinical tasks including taking vital signs and ECGs while providing general office support such as billing and bookkeeping. Maintain professional interactions with patients, families, payors, and vendors.

Responsibilities

Perform office procedures including; billing, bookkeeping and typing/correspondence Ability to take vital signs, ECG and perform other clinical assistance tasks Interacts with patients and families in a professional manner Maintains professionalism while interacting with payors, vendors, insurance, etc.

Qualifications

Requires completion of a Medical Assistant training program or a certification in Medical Assisting One year related experience preferred Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with patients and families and collaborate with health team members CPR certification The above statements are intended to describe the functions and related requirements of persons assigned to this job.
