About the role

Provide comprehensive operative and non-operative orthopedic trauma care for complex injuries at a Level II Trauma Center. Contribute to the growth of the trauma program and participate in emergency room call coverage.

Position Overview BayCare Medical Group is seeking a fellowship-trained Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join our highly respected Orthopedic Surgery team at St.

Joseph's Hospital, a 555-bed Level II Trauma Center in Tampa, Florida.

This opportunity offers the ability to join a large, collaborative orthopedic program consisting of three orthopedic surgeons, three orthopedic traumatologists, and five advanced practice providers.

Joseph's Hospital is a busy Level II Trauma Center with a strong referral base and robust orthopedic trauma volume.

The incoming physician will work alongside an experienced team, providing care for a wide range of complex orthopedic injuries while enjoying significant opportunities for mentorship, collaboration, and professional growth.

Position Highlights: High-volume Level II Trauma Center with a robust orthopedic trauma caseload Opportunity to work alongside experienced orthopedic trauma surgeons Exposure to a wide variety of complex fracture care and trauma reconstruction cases Strong referral network and established community presence Provide comprehensive orthopedic trauma care, including operative and non-operative fracture management Contribute to the continued growth and development of the orthopedic trauma program Participate in trauma call coverage, including seven obligated emergency room call days and one weekend per month

Qualifications

The position requires board certification or board eligibility by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Florida medical license (or ability to obtain) Fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma required Experience preferred but not required Company Overview

Requirements

Requires fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma and board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. A Florida medical license or the ability to obtain one is required.
