We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused MRI Technologist on a part-time basis to join our outpatient imaging center in Beaumont, TX.
Work Schedule: Saturdays, 8:00am-5:00pm
The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality MRI procedures in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment. This role ensures patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging while delivering an exceptional patient experience. Essential
Perform MRI procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols Ensure proper patient screening, positioning, and image quality Monitor patients throughout procedures, ensuring safety and comfort Administer contrast agents as directed and in compliance with policy (if applicable) Verify patient information, orders, and documentation for accuracy Maintain MRI equipment and report any issues promptly Adhere to all safety, infection control, and MRI safety standards Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and work areas
Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification with Registry in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) or current American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) #TMISA Lumexa Imaging provides a competitive compensation program to attract, retain, and motivate a high-performance workforce.
