include but are not limited to: Performing complex transcriptions and document structure for patient medical records. Assigning diagnostic codes to transcribed documents. Enter codes in system on a timely and consistent basis. Proofread complex documents for accuracy as established by licensing and accreditation agencies. Interprets procedures for medical staff as needed. Drafts and compiles memorandums and reports of data and distributes to appropriate personnel and agencies. Maintains filing system and terminal digit filing. Other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate would be: Efficient with time management. Strong attention to detail. Proficient computer skills.
