Health Unit Coordinator at Providence Medford Medical Center is 0.5 FTE part time position working during weekdays and weekends on an evening shift.
The position is from Monday to Friday 19:00-23:00.
The Health Unit Coordinator is a key person within the nursing unit, who provides overall administrative and technical assistance and support in the operation of the assigned nursing unit; and collaborates with other staff and leaders in the development, oversight, and operation of the unit.
This position is the hub of all communication to and from the nursing unit; and greatly impacts the "tone" of the unit/shift.

Required Qualifications: Coursework/Training - Medical terminology course or equivalent educ/experience.
1 year - Experience performing secretarial duties in healthcare, or equivalent training in a recognized healthcare program.
Experience with a variety of software applications.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
