The staff Physical Therapist Assistant works under the supervision of a registered physical therapist. The Physical Therapy Assistant is responsible for direct patient care, family /caregiver training, documentation, and team communication for all assigned patients. In addition, the Physical Therapy Assistant performs departmental supportive tasks as assigned.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. Candidates must be a graduate of an APTA or CAPTE approved 2-year college program and hold a valid California Physical Therapy Assistant License. A National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required upon hire.
