Perform routine, specialized, and interventional MRI imaging for patients. Assist radiologists and nurses with sedation cases and perform venipuncture when indicated.
Job Purpose The primary purpose of the MRI Technologist position is to perform routine, specialized and interventional MRI imaging. In addition, performing venipuncture when indicated and assists the Radiologist and Radiology nurses with sedation cases. Job Requirements: Education: Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program and meets the MQSA guidelines Licenses and/or Certifications: Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist certification, ARRT (M) combined with Texas Department of State Health certification (MRT), or ARMRIT Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, American Heart Association Work Experience: 1 year work experience, preferred Methodist Mansfield Medical Center is a 294-bed, full-service acute-care hospital serving North Texas and certified as an Advanced Primary Stroke and Heart Attack Center by The Joint Commission. Must be a graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program with ARRT (M) and Texas MRT certifications. BLS certification is required, and one year of experience is preferred.
