  • SUMMARY: Perform administrative and certain clinical duties under the direction of a physician. Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments and maintaining medical records. Clinical duties may include taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination and administration of investigative protocol. Must maintain a high degree of attention to detail and accurate records. Must provide good customer service in all forms of patient interaction. Must follow established protocols and procedures with exacting precision.

Current BLS Certification.

Experience

  • Work in a doctor’s office or other medical office.
  • Equipment/Technology: Experience with office equipment, medical equipment used to obtain vitals, computer systems to enter data and process information.
  • Language/Communication: Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Bilingual is a plus. Must understand medical terminology.

Requirements

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a current BLS certification. Candidates should have experience in a medical office setting and proficiency with medical equipment and computer systems.
