Schedule Options We are currently seeking CNS or Caregivers with availability for morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts. Must be willing to travel to Cottleville, MO for this position. 12 hour shifts range from 7:00AM to 7:00PM PRN (as needed coverage) only Two weekend shifts per month required
What You Will Do Our caregivers provide essential daily support and companionship to our clients. Responsibilities may include: Assisting with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting) Helping with mobility and transfers Light housekeeping, laundry, and bed linen changes Meal preparation and assistance with eating Medication reminders Providing companionship and emotional support Works with multiple clients (floor shift) throughout an independent living facility per shift
What We’re Looking For Must be 18 years or older Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Auto insurance coverage Must be willing to travel to Cottleville, MO Must be able to work with pets Ability to work 2 weekend shifts per month Minimum 30 hours of availability per month At least 1 year of professional caregiving, CNA, or home care experience Experience with dementia or Alzheimer’s care is a plus Excellent communication and ability to interact with facility staff Ability to prioritize needs of patient population based on current workload
Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 25lbs Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and kneel for extended periods Ability to climb stairs and reach overhead Comfortable working in homes with pets or smokers Ability to use proper safety equipment (gloves, masks, etc.) Ability to read and follow care instructions and safety guidelines
