SIPS is a 32-bed unit specializing in inpatient care for post-surgical patients. The unit includes a variety of surgical patients including total joint replacements, bariatric surgeries, and higher acuity cases such as post-surgical vascular and thoracic patients. The unit also accepts post-operative admissions originating from areas such as the emergency room or a physician’s office.
