About the role

Perform high-quality X-ray and fluoroscopy exams while ensuring patient safety and compliance with ACR standards. Assist radiologists with specialized procedures and manage patient flow in a professional, compassionate manner.

Seattle Radiology is looking for a skilled and compassionate X-Ray Technologist to join our Imaging team. Seattle Radiology is a self-standing outpatient imaging center in downtown Seattle. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality x-ray exams and procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and compliance with all regulatory standards. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a patient-centered approach.

Shift

Monday - Friday / 8: 30 am to 5:00 pm

Location

Located in beautiful Seattle, Washington. Nestled between the shimmering waters of Puget Sound and the towering peaks of the Cascade and Olympic Mountains, Seattle offers breathtaking views and abundant outdoor activities. The city is renowned for its vibrant cultural scene, featuring world-class museums, eclectic dining, and a thriving music and arts community. Compensation

The salary range is $39.60 - $52.82 - $66.03. The salary is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and employment status. This position comes with a sign on bonus of $5k.

Position Summary

  • Properly performs X-Ray, Fluoroscopy, and Procedures to ACR standards
  • Ability to physically assist patients to obtain high quality imaging
  • Assists radiologist with specialized procedures
  • Prepares sterile trays
  • Properly screens orders prior to exam for any precautions or contraindications
  • Provides patient care services in a professional and compassionate manner
  • Organizes and monitors patient flow to meet company productivity, quality, health, and safety standards
  • Ability to de-escalate conflict situations with minimal supervisory assistance but able to recognize when a situation is beyond individual training/expertise and requires assistance

Qualifications

and Requirements:

  • Satisfactory completion of a formal radiologic technology program or other compatible course of study
  • Washington State Radiologic Technologist - Diagnostic license required (Washington State X-ray license, ARRT)
  • One year of X-Ray experience preferred
  • Current certification in Healthcare Provider BLS/CPR
  • Demonstrates a professional demeanor in appearance and behavior in all work-related interactions

COVID Requirements

To protect physicians, employees, and patients of Radia from contracting COVID-19 and to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, Radia requires that all Health Care Setting Workers receive a COVID-19 vaccination, subject to the exemptions. New hires will be required to present written proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a written request for an Exemption within 30 days of hire.
