Right now, we’re looking for a Veterinary Technician + an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our overnight crew—someone cool under pressure, confident in their skills, and ready to be the calm in the middle of the clinical storm.

What You Bring to the Table

  • A Veterinary Technician with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in a clinical setting, preferably in emergency/urgent care.
  • Confidence in triage, IV catheter placement, phlebotomy, radiology, anesthesia, and critical patient monitoring - these are must have skills.
  • Able to work independently overnight—while still being part of a connected and collaborative team
  • Able to triage cases over the phone, communicate effectively with clients, and handle emotionally intense situations
  • A calm, capable, compassionate demeanor (with a sense of humor never hurting either)
  • You bring strong technical skills and confidence

Your Role in the Pack

  • Provide thoughtful, hands-on care to overnight inpatients and emergencies
  • Perform radiographs, support surgeries, place IV catheters, draw blood, and assist in other clinical treatment
  • Triage incoming emergencies and communicate with clients effectively and compassionately
  • Maintain a clean, calm, organized treatment space (even at 3 a.m.)
  • Communicate clearly with clients and team members about patient status, financial estimates, and treatment plans
  • Keep detailed records and follow established medical protocols
  • Serve as the eyes and ears of the hospital overnight, ensuring seamless care continues into morning rounds
