Registered Nurse/RN II – Emergency Department Full Time Nights Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health Rockwall - 3150 Horizon Rd, Rockwall, TX 75032 Work hours: Full Time, 36 hours weekly, (3) 12-hour Night shifts 7pm-7am, including weekends and holidays Training: Must be able to attend training at the corporate office in Arlington 8am-5pm during the first 1-5 days of hire Emergency Department Highlights: Engaged leadership that actively works to assist staff. Here’s What You Need Nursing Diploma required or Associate’s degree in Nursing required or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred 1 year experience as registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program required Emergency Department experience or trauma unit experience strongly preferred Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire and BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care required upon hire and maintained quarterly CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training required within 90 days of hire and maintained annually ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required within 90 days of hire and PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support required within 90 days of hire and TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course preferred upon hire A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
