Overview NovaCare Rehabilitation is seeking an outpatient hand therapy Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Wilmington, DE Our outpatient center in North Wilmington is seeking a licensed COTA to provide quality patient care.

At least 2 years of experience in hand therapy is required.

Compensation: Hourly rate is $30-$35 per hour based on your experience.

Under the direction of the licensed occupational therapist, optimize the functional abilities and skills of patients. Teach clients new ways of approaching tasks and educate them on how to break down activities into achievable components Ensure delivery of high-quality patient care services. Observe, note, and report on the progress of long and short-term treatment goals Ensure proper documentation of patient care. Maintain professional standards through compliance with quality assurance policies/ procedures as well as applicable regulations and corporate policies
Must be a graduate of an ACOTA accredited occupational therapy assistant (OTA) program National registration and state COTA licensure or registration REQUIRED Must have previous experience working with hand therapy patients Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification Valid state driver’s license Additional Data Equal Opportunity Employer/including Disabled/Veterans
