Market context

Virginia NMT roles remain selective

In Virginia, nuclear medicine technologist openings are typically driven by hospital imaging demand and the need for credentialed coverage across patient care settings. These roles are competitive because employers often prefer ARRT or NMTCB certification, BLS, and prior nuclear medicine experience. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits here to confirm fit quickly, then compare your certification and experience against the preferred associate degree and one year of experience before applying.
