Assist surgeons and medical staff before, during, and after surgical procedures by maintaining a sterile environment. Responsible for preparing the operating room and ensuring all necessary instruments and supplies are available.

Prior experience as a surgical technologist or assistant preferred Knowledge of various surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies/materials, all patient care equipment and supplies, policy, procedure, and protocol manuals, audio-visual, video, and microscopic equipment, computers, telecommunication equipment, and wall/ceiling and tanked medical gases preferred. Requires a high school diploma, surgical technologist certification, and graduation from an accredited surgical technology program. BLS certification from an AHA-endorsed program is required upon completion of orientation.
