Prepare patients for Cath Lab procedures and assist physicians while maintaining a sterile environment. Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to emergency situations and clinical changes.
This position demonstrates proficiency for patient preparation for all procedures performed in the Cath Lab including assisting physicians with scrubbing and maintaining sterile technique. Recognizes and responds timely to emergency situations, maintains awareness of patient's condition and notifies the Nurse and the Physician of clinical changes. Keeps updated on the latest advances in cardiovascular techniques and equipment. Demonstrates behavior supportive to positive guest relations through positive verbal and written communication with patients, families, visitors and co-workers.
1. Graduate of accredited School of Radiologic Technology
2. Current Diagnostic Radiology Technology and Flouroscopy (RHF) license
3. Echocardiology certificate preferred
4. 1 year experience as a radiologic technologist
5. BLS certified by American Heart Association.
6. ACLS within 60 days
