Market context

California OTA roles stay consistently needed

In California, Occupational Therapy Assistant roles are typically in steady demand across schools, rehab, and outpatient settings as providers support patients with daily-function goals. These positions can be competitive because employers often want a valid state license, an associate’s degree, and prior COTA experience, though new graduates may still be considered. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits here to save time, then confirm your license status and tailor your application to any pediatric, rehab, or school-based experience.
