Practice for this role

About the role

Provide longitudinal primary care including chronic disease management, preventive care, and acute visits for a defined patient panel. Perform various in-office clinical procedures and maintain patient records within the EHR while coordinating care with medical assistants.

Description Frontier Direct Care delivers direct primary care (DPC) to employer-sponsored patient populations. Our providers manage a defined patient panel with an emphasis on continuity, preventive care, and chronic disease management — a model built around lower daily patient volume and longer visit times than traditional fee-for-service primary care.

Position Summary

We're hiring Family Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to serve as the primary clinician to provide support, treatment and management to patients. This is a full-scope, hands-on primary care role: you'll manage chronic disease, perform in-office procedures, and build long-term relationships with patients rather than cycling through high-volume, short visits.

Frontier is Growing! We are expanding our direct primary care clinics to include the following areas. If you are interested in learning more, we'd love to speak with you! Richardson, TX 75080Mesquite, TX 75150Duncanville, Tx 75137Arlington, TX 76011

Maintain 24/7/365 on-call access for patient communication via a company-provided secure line (Twilio-based; personal phone number is never shared with patients) Work under a collaborating/delegating physician in accordance with Texas Medical Board supervision requirements Participate in weekly team meetings and 1:1s and other clinical meetings as requested or required.

Market context

Texas physician roles remain highly competitive

Texas physician openings often reflect steady demand across hospitals, clinics, and specialty practices, especially where patient volumes are high and access to care is uneven. These roles are competitive because employers usually look for strong clinical judgment, current licensure, and experience in fast-paced settings. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits on this page to save research time, and confirm your licensure and one year of healthcare experience before applying.
