AA Volunteer Needed!

Responsibilities

• Springwoods Behavioral Health is seeking community volunteers to facilitate Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meetings for patients in our behavioral health programs.
• Volunteers provide peer support, share recovery resources, and help foster hope and healing in a safe, supportive environment.
• AA experience and a commitment to confidentiality are required.
• Individual must pass a background screening, drug screen and adult and child maltreatment checks.
• Springwoods Behavioral Health, an 80-bed behavioral health facility located in Fayetteville, Arkansas, provides acute inpatient treatment for adolescent, adult, and specialty program for women.
• The hospital also offers outpatient treatment.
• Our six-acre campus is adjacent to a 123-acre Audubon Wildlife and Bird Sanctuary, which is held in perpetuity and cannot be developed from its natural state.
• This provides Springwoods with a peaceful setting for those embarked on the road to recovery.

Qualifications

• This is an unpaid Volunteer position.
• You must be able to pass a background srcreeing, drug test and cadult and child maltreatments.
