We’re looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to deliver high-quality treatments to patients as directed by their practitioner and in alignment with exact protocol.

Key Responsibilities: Perform daily set-up checklists and prepare equipment for use Greet patients warmly and verify treatment information Confirm up-to-date doctor’s orders and ensure all consents are signed and updated annually Educate patients on the treatment being administered and the importance of consistency Track and follow up on patient schedules to maintain adherence to practitioner-directed care Maintain accurate treatment notes in patient charts Monitor for adverse reactions and seek practitioner intervention if necessary Maintain a clean, sanitized treatment environment Manage daily schedule to minimize delays and scheduling conflicts Ensure confidentiality and compassionate care at all times Support a safe, professional, and compliant clinical environment
Basic understanding of medical terminology. Experience in alternative health or integrative medicine is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to remain calm, patient, and solution-focused in a clinical setting. Compassionate and patient when working with individuals experiencing illness. Intermediate computer proficiency. Strong ability to learn and follow detailed treatment protocols. Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen. Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED required. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program with a minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Medical Assistant; OR A minimum of three (3) years of experience working as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting. Language Skills: Must speak fluent English. Must have excellent interactive communication skills, making patients feel comfortable and at ease. Physical Demands of Position: While performing the duties of this job, you must be able to stand for periods of up to 7 hours at a time while caring for patients. You may be required to assist patients onto medical tables, lift up to 60 pounds, and manage equipment with frequent physical exertion. Emotional resilience is necessary, as you will be working closely with sick and emotionally distressed patients and their families.
$22 - $23 / hour
