Provide substance abuse rehabilitation and counseling services within an inpatient setting. Responsibilities include monitoring client status, ensuring facility safety, and transporting residents to various appointments.
Provide substance abuse rehabilitation and counseling services to clients in accordance with OASAS and Agency rules and regulations in an inpatient setting.
Monitoring and observing the physical, mental, and emotional status of admitted client's day or night. Daily and nightly monitoring and reporting on all Men's Residences client rooms, kitchen, and common areas for program compliance, health, safety, and security. Reports progress on residence at every shift change. Provides assistant to residents, this includes motivation, support and encouragement for client goals. Logs telephone, personal visits and significant event or information during your shift into the Residential logbook. Transports clients to treatment program activities, D.S.S., medical and legal appointments, recreational opportunities and in emergencies. Conducts random and routine urine drug screens. Log all information and prepare for pick up. Performs other duties as assigned by Program Manager. Licenses, Certificates, or Registrations: Valid New York State driver license. CPR and First Aid certified preferred Education Requirements: High school diploma or GED. Attending or completed 350-hour CASAC course a plus. Job Type: Full-time and Part-time
