Perform radiographic procedures and operate imaging equipment under the direction of a radiologist. Ensure patient safety through appropriate radiation protection measures and provide high-quality customer service to patients and staff.
One year of current clinical experience in diagnostic radiology is preferred. Clinical student experience may be considered in lieu of one year of current clinical experience.
Post high school completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program is required.
An additional 1-2 years of college/university coursework and/or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare related field is preferred but not required.
Self-motivated; ability to organize and prioritize well; ability to remain flexible and to reorganize priorities when emergencies arise.
ARRT registered RT (R) in diagnostic radiology and current State of WI license as a Radiographer is required. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
