Market context
Outpatient physical therapist positions in Illinois are typically driven by steady demand from clinics, rehab centers, and orthopedic practices serving patients after injury, surgery, or chronic pain. This role is competitive because employers usually want a CAPTE-accredited graduate with current or pending Illinois licensure, BLS certification, and the ability to manage a full caseload of 10-12 patients per day; benefits like PTO, holiday pay, and insurance are also commonly weighed. Before applying, compare the caseload expectations and schedule against your outpatient experience, and note that the requirements and benefits here are AI-summarized from the original job description to save research time.
