About the role

Lead daily group sessions on self-care and job skills while supporting clients with hygiene and behavioral needs. Coordinate wraparound care with clinicians and transport clients between personal care homes and the program.

About the Role

Join a team that believes in possibility, not limitation. At Harbor Behavioral Health, we empower adults with severe mental illness through daily therapeutic rehabilitation that builds dignity, independence, and hope. Our team is growing, and we’re looking for a TRP Specialist — a Behavioral Health Professional who brings compassion, accountability, and initiative to every interaction. What You’ll Do Lead daily group sessions on self-care, emotional regulation, community engagement, and job skills Support clients with discretion and compassion during hygiene-related needs Drive clients between personal care homes and our program (up to 4 hours/day in a company vehicle) Document client participation and progress with accuracy and clarity Help keep the facility “tour-ready”—safe, clean, and welcoming Collaborate with clinicians and providers to deliver wraparound care What You Bring We’re looking for individuals who embody integrity, curiosity, and heart — people who are proactive, adaptable, and mission-driven. At HBH, adaptability is essential. We’re a mission-driven team that constantly improves. “This is how we’ve always done it” isn’t part of our vocabulary — we’re always learning, iterating, and building better ways to serve our clients. Ideal Traits: Skilled in group facilitation, behavioral support, and crisis response Clear communicator who values candid, supportive feedback Calm, reliable, and steady in fast-paced situations Organized, dependable, and fully present for clients Why Work With HBH Competitive pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour Employer-paid health insurance after the probationary period Optional vision and dental insurance (employee-paid) PTO and 11 paid federal holidays Professional development support and opportunities for advancement Supportive culture where feedback, growth, and purpose are part of everyday life Schedule Full-time, 8-hour day shifts Some weekends and holidays are required Ready to Make a Difference? If you’re passionate about helping others live fuller, more independent lives — and you thrive in an environment that expects accountability, kindness, and consistency — we’d love to hear from you. Apply today and join us in building the best place to work in behavioral health in Kentucky. Must meet at least one Certified Adult Peer Support Specialist (current & active) — or willing to pursue certification with our support OR Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field Plus Experience supporting adults with severe mental illness and/or developmental disabilities Driver’s license and reliable transportation Be part of a supportive, mission-driven team that values growth and feedback.
