The Behavioral Health Physician Associate is responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care, including performing physical examinations, diagnosing conditions, and managing treatment plans. Essential functions
Evaluates health status through performing comprehensive health assessments as required by agency policies
Accountable for completion of face to face assessments within required timeframes.
Collaborates with physician, patient/family and interdisciplinary team regarding assessment findings, care needs, and revisions to plan of care.
Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with patients, family members, co-workers, physicians and referral sources.
Performs timely and accurate documentation in accordance with agency policy.
Abides by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability privacy and security regulations regarding all aspects of Protected Health Information (PHI).
