Job Description

The Physical Therapist reports to the lead Physical Therapist. The Physical Therapist II develops and provides optimal patient care by planning and implementing a physical therapy program for individuals based on age-specific and population-specific needs utilizing a developmental and patient/family-directed approach. Under the general supervision of the lead Physical Therapist III functions as a staff therapist. Patient populations served: infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric for a variety of diagnoses including but not limited to neurologic, orthopedic, post-surgical, pediatric, medically complex, inpatient, or outpatient throughout the hospital system.

Education: Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program

Experience

Less than one year experience as a physical therapist. New Grads welcome!

Licensure

  • Physical Therapist by the South Carolina Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required

Candidates must have graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy program and possess less than one year of experience, welcoming new graduates. Licensure by the South Carolina Board of Physical Therapy Examiners and current AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification are mandatory.
