About the role

The Registered Nurse will independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to a specific patient population, utilizing the nursing process for planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient care plan. This role also involves guiding unlicensed assistive personnel and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and high-quality patient experience.

Hourly Pay Range

$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

What you will do

  • Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for a patient population on a specific unit
  • Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care
  • Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care
  • Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
  • Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience

What you will need

  • License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
  • Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred
  • Certification: BLS/CPR ACLS Certification for the Healthcare Provider required
  • Experience: A minimum two year of recent acute care clinical experience in critical care. Telemetry competence required. Telemetry competence must be demonstrated within 14 days of hire by passing online telemetry test.

Requirements
