MercyOne Waterloo and Cedar Falls are seeking a General Anesthesiologist to join a collaborative team of anesthesiologists and CRNAs providing care at two modern hospitals located just 15 minutes apart.
This opportunity offers an exceptional work‑life balance with 9 weeks of paid vacation annually (approximately 12 weeks off with a 10‑hour shift model), extra call pay, and vacation buy‑back options.
Physicians enjoy a high level of autonomy managing their own cases with no open‑heart procedures and a diverse case mix including general surgery, orthopedics, spine, ENT, OB, pediatrics, neurosurgery, IR, and more.
Compensation includes a $600K guaranteed salary with up to $680K income potential, $150K in bonuses, comprehensive benefits, employer‑paid malpractice with tail, $6,000 CME, relocation assistance, and eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF).
