The nurse is responsible for preparing patients for procedures and assisting physicians during those procedures. Additionally, they provide recovery care and participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
We are currently searching for a Per Diem (PRN) Registered Nurse to work Mondays – Fridays who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks. Major responsibilities include: prepares patients for procedures; assist physician during procedure; provides care for patients in recovery, assist with pre-testing phone calls and actively participates in all Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement activities.
Candidate must demonstrate proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge, and skills, be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, have a current state license to practice as a registered nurse, maintain basic cardiac life support certification(BLS) and ACLS with American Heart Association approved course(including hands on skills), and have at least two years of registered nurse experience.
