About the role

Responsible for delivering patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The role involves guiding nursing ancillary personnel and managing the discharge planning process.

Hours of Job • Full Time - 11

  • 00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.
  • Every third weekend and every other holiday rotation required.

Duties

  • and Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for delivery of patient care through the Nursing Process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Directs and guides patient teaching and activities of Nursing Ancillary Personnel.
  • Implements and documents clinical and technical aspects of care. Initiates, manages, and participates in Discharge Planning Process.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. Must be willing to cross-train to Intensive Care.

Requirements

  • Ability to work every third weekend and every other holiday rotation.
  • Flexibility in scheduling to meet department needs.
  • Education/Certifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Licensed to practice nursing in the State of Ohio.
  • Experience
  • Previous experience in an Emergency or Intensive Care setting.
