Market context

Peer support roles remain steady in North Carolina

Certified Peer Support Specialist roles in North Carolina are typically tied to behavioral health, recovery, and community support settings, where demand often follows provider staffing needs and local service expansion. This role is competitive because employers usually require a current NC CPSS certification, lived recovery experience, and reliable transportation, while benefits like health insurance, paid training, and advancement can help offset the hourly pay range. Before applying, confirm your certification status and driver’s license details, and review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits here to save time compared with reading the full original posting.
