As a Radiology Technologist, you will use the latest X-Ray equipment to obtain images utilized in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Utilizing your learned skills and knowledge, you will perform accurate and appropriate techniques to facilitate a streamlined process, all while ensuring patients feel comfortable and informed. This position provides an excellent opportunity to not only enhance quality of care but also allows you to gain hands-on experience, build meaningful caregiver relationships and find your place within an exciting, innovative healthcare system. A caregiver in this position works days from 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. + on-call requirements. A caregiver who excels in this role will: Perform ED/surgical procedures (trauma cases, fluoroscopic exams to include vascular, general medicine, ortho, cardiac, GI, GU, neuro, pediatrics, and general procedures). Produce quality images for interpretation with accuracy and without delay. Perform procedures in a sterile environment and maintain patient safety at all times. Provide verbal and written instructions to patients and families on procedures as needed. Assist in scheduling patients. Monitors and determines priority of patients. Ensure patients' safety and comfort during and after the exam. Demonstrates the care and operation of Radiography equipment according to technical specifications and applications. Assist Radiologists, physicians and surgeons with procedures. Knowledgeable in acquiring, archiving, transmitting, and printing images via PACS. When applicable, knowledge in after-hours transmission of images and appropriate paperwork. Immediately report any malfunctions to the help desk and PACS Administrator. Knowledgeable in billing via RIS. Maintain documentation requirements to ensure that all technical data is entered timely and accurately. Notify management and takes proper action to address equipment malfunctions. Provide instruction/mentoring to new hires and Radiology students. Continually strive to learn new technical information and skills through attendance of periodic in-service programs and participation in professional affiliation sessions. May be required to rotate through all diagnostic imaging modalities and locations. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and in good standing Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Knowledge of anatomy and related pathologic processes. Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: One year of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist Physical Requirements: Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift or assist with lifting patients of varying weight and manipulate equipment daily. Personal Protective Equipment: Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required. Requirements

Must be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology school with ARRT certification and current state licensure. BLS certification is required, and one year of general radiologic technology experience is preferred.
