We are seeking a skilled and dedicated EP Tech to join our dynamic Heart and Vascular team. In this role, you will assist Electrophysiologists in performing highly complex, specialized procedures to diagnose and treat cardiac arrhythmias. You will operate advanced monitoring and mapping systems, scrub into cases, and ensure exceptional patient care.
The Cardiovascular Invasive Technician - Certified provides specialized support during diagnostic and therapeutic/interventional cardiovascular procedures. This role involves assisting physicians, operating specialized equipment, and maintaining sterile techniques to ensure patient safety and quality care. The Technician ensures accurate data recording, documentation, and effective communication with the healthcare team to support optimal patient outcomes.
Essential Functions
Assists physicians during cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional procedures, maintaining sterile techniques and adhering to clinical protocols.
Operates advanced cardiovascular equipment safely and efficiently, monitoring patient status and adapting to changing conditions as necessary.
Records, calculates, and verifies data during procedures for physician review, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Prepares and maintains detailed procedural documentation, including treatment plans, evaluation results, and progress reports, in line with department standards.
Ensures a safe and efficient environment in the acute care area, responding promptly to patient needs and changes in condition.
Supports patient preparation, positioning, and monitoring, providing reassurance and ensuring patient comfort throughout procedures.
Collaborates with healthcare team members to ensure seamless workflow, equipment readiness, and effective communication during procedures.
Participates in quality improvement initiatives and maintains compliance with best practices, policies, and regulatory standards for cardiovascular care.
Performs other duties as assigned.

• 0-1 years of experience in cardiovascular or invasive procedures required
Requires RCIS certification and ACLS, with BCLS obtained within 90 days of hire. Candidates should have 0-1 years of experience in cardiovascular or invasive procedures and an associate degree.
